Join the Academy of Court-Appointed Neutrals in Charleston for the 2027 Annual Meeting, bringing together court-appointed neutrals, judges, attorneys and other professionals from across the country for three days of education, conversation and connection.
Under this year’s theme, Facilitating Justice, the Annual Meeting will explore the many ways court-appointed neutrals help courts, parties and counsel manage complex disputes and move matters toward resolution. Programming will examine the work of neutrals across mass torts and multidistrict litigation, complex settlements, discovery, bankruptcy, juvenile justice and claims administration, while also looking ahead at emerging challenges and opportunities presented by artificial intelligence and other changes affecting the profession. Attendees will hear perspectives from experienced neutrals, attorneys, in-house counsel and members of the judiciary and take away practical ideas and approaches they can apply in their own work.
Beyond the educational program, the Annual Meeting is distinguished by the community it brings together. Its intimate size creates opportunities for attendees to continue conversations outside of sessions, share experiences and ideas, and develop meaningful relationships with colleagues from across the country.
